We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Lending Specialist to join our team at CommBank. As a key member of our Home Lending team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and business development expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide expert advice and support to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams
    • Complete first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Develop business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources and seeking external referrals from existing customers
    • Adhere to the Bank's processes, procedures, and Code of Conduct, including accurately reviewing customers' financial positions, completing security checks, and ensuring applications comply with our obligations
  • Professional Development and Coaching
    • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop lending knowledge and skills
    • Coach branch colleagues on best practice
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills
    • Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment
    • Demonstrated business development success
    • Well-developed knowledge of home lending products and current responsible lending legislation

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
