Senior Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Designer to lead our product design team. As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for translating our brand's vision, values, and creative direction into innovative and compelling product designs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be analytical, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FOLLOW THE LSKD OPERATING PRINCIPLES
  • LEAD THE BRAND WITH INTEGRITY
  • COLLABORATE WITH CREATIVE DIRECTION TO UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCT VISION AND COMMUNITY NEEDS
  • BUILD CATEGORY RANGES THROUGH CREATIVE CONCEPTS AND DESIGN
  • APPLY INSIGHTS FROM ATHLETE TESTING TO IMPROVE AND OPTIMISE PRODUCT PERFORMANCE AND DURABILITY
  • TRANSLATE CONCEPTUAL IDEAS INTO DETAILED SKETCHES AND DIGITAL RENDERINGS
  • DEVELOP TECHNICAL DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
  • PARTICIPATE IN PROTOTYPE REVIEW AND REFINE SAMPLES
  • RESEARCH AND EVALUATE MATERIALS, TRIMS, AND EMBELLISHMENTS
  • STAY INFORMED ABOUT INDUSTRY TRENDS AND COMPETITOR OFFERINGS

Requirements:

  • EXPERIENCE WITH ACTIVWEAR FABRICS IS DESIRABLE
  • ABILITY TO HIT DEADLINES AND WORK EXTRA MILE
  • ANALYTICAL AND ADAPTABLE
  • PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
  • CAD TOOL PROFICIENCY
  • UNDERSTANDING OF MANUFACTURING PROCESS
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL

  • Strong understanding of design principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
