Key leadership and communication skills are required to develop and execute strategic plans, engaging stakeholders across Defence. Progress and outcomes will be monitored and evaluated, with detailed reports capturing key metrics.

Flexibility and agility are essential, as you will need to adapt to new tasks and changing priorities while working collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a premium payment. This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the agreement, for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.

The Incubator Branch is responsible for evaluating best-in-class technology and its fit for purpose across Defence Capabilities. Evaluations completed by the branch are used to inform technology choices made by the department in the delivery of its objectives.

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual who possesses:

- **Expertise in Report Writing**: Proficiency in creating detailed and insightful reports.

- **Service Design Knowledge**: Experience in designing effective services.

- **Team Collaboration Skills**: Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.

- **Flexibility and Agility**: Capacity to adapt to new tasks and changing priorities.

- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
