Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Medical Writer to join our team.

This role involves coordinating, writing and editing of various clinical study documents. You'll work on a diverse range of therapeutic areas and have the opportunity to explore the science behind a project.

As a medical writer you will be responsible for developing high-quality clinical documentation that supports drug development for pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, while maintaining quality processes and mentoring junior writers as needed.

  • Developing high-quality clinical documentation such as Investigator Brochures, Clinical Study Protocols, Participant Information and Consent Forms, Clinical Study Reports and other relevant documents
  • Maintaining quality processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Mentoring junior writers to improve their skills and knowledge in medical writing
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and prepare high-quality content for clinical documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines
  • Develop and maintain quality processes and procedures
  • Mentor junior writers and provide feedback on their work
Requirements:
  • Ordinary degree in a scientific or relevant discipline
  • Higher degree in scientific or relevant discipline (desired)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Medical Writer with prior experience in preparation of IBs, CSPs, PICFs, CSRs or other clinical trial documents
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical/clinical research industry
  • Strong research report writing skills and/or demonstrated experience in writing peer-reviewed journal articles
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP guideline, ICH E3 guideline, medical terminology and clinical trials processes
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
