Job Role: Personal Care Assistant
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring their comfort and happiness.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing.
- Support day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities.
- Work with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed.
- Maintain documentation and work as part of a team to ensure residents' health and wellbeing are optimised.
- Provide high quality service to families and the community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable team player.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent).
- Willingsness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
