Global Deal Approval Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our Deal Approvals team as a Private Pricing Program Manager. This role will be primarily focused on supporting the Private Pricing program for AWS, preparing and managing approvals for public sector and/or worldwide commercial sales based on approved deal structures.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct deal review with Sales teams, Finance, Operations, Accounting to influence and facilitate alignment and approvals
  • Be a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on Amazon Approval policies
  • Evaluate process to drive improvements to velocity via projects and initiatives
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, Finance, Legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial deals


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience in preparing presentations for Senior Leadership


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
