About the RoleWe're seeking an Assistant Buyer to join our Cotton On Body team, focusing on our Activewear Tops & Bottoms category. As an Assistant Buyer, you'll work closely with your category buyer to deliver big ideas and key lifestyle products that align with our brand and DNA. You'll partner with your category buyer to identify sales and trend opportunities, and deliver on production decision-making solutions that drive growth to the category.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of product lines and ranges that meet our brand's DNA and customer needs
- Work closely with the category buyer to identify sales and trend opportunities
- Partner with the category buyer to deliver on production decision-making solutions that drive growth to the category
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including planners, designers, and merchandisers
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to represent the buyer's message and strategy
- Degree/qualification in a relevant field, such as buying or merchandising
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Buyer role is ideal
- Hands-on product development experience, with the ability to manage OTB with a planner
- Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Illustrator
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders with confidence
- Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills
