Electrical Engineer for Underground Mining

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in South Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining underground mining equipment throughout the workshop and in the field.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a trade-qualified Auto Electrician with experience working on earthmoving equipment to further their career in the UG hard rock mining sector.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with a close-knit crew and have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience working on Sandvik drills, trucks, boggers, and Normet equipment.
You will be based in a modern, well-equipped surface workshop and have access to a range of training and development opportunities, including OEM training.
This role offers a long-term career development opportunity with a world-renowned underground mining contractor.
You will receive a competitive salary of $70-$75 per hour, plus superannuation, and have the opportunity to choose from a range of rosters, including 2:2, 8:6, and 2:1.
In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including camp and meals provided, flights and accommodation covered to and from site, and the opportunity to work in a FIFO environment.
With a permanent role and holidays and sick days, this is a great opportunity to secure a long-term position with a reputable mining contractor.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a trade qualification in Auto-Electrician and experience working in the field and workshop, as well as experience working autonomously and in a team environment.
