Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Construction Engineer to collaborate with our Sales and Estimating teams.

This is a highly technical role that requires excellent communication skills, as you will work directly with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Review bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract details.
  • Select and price HVAC equipment, write technical proposals, and develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding.
  • Communicate with suppliers and contractors to clarify project details for sales engineers and project administrators.
  • Have experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or be willing to learn.
  • Be familiar with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and temperature control systems.
  • Evaluate equipment savings and costs, preparing proposals and pricing breakdowns.
  • Assemble bid files, including all development information, in the customer relationship management system.
  • Estimate costs for HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities.
