Project Engineer Role

We are seeking highly skilled Project Engineers with a strong background in HVAC to take on key responsibilities within our organization. As a vital member of the Sales and Estimating teams, you will work directly with customers, providing technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Select and price HVAC equipment, write technical proposals, and develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding purposes to optimize results.
  • Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors to clarify information for sales engineers, application engineers, and project administrators, promoting seamless collaboration.
  • Familiarize yourself with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and temperature control systems to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Evaluate equipment savings and costs, preparing proposal and pricing breakdowns to provide transparent information to customers.
  • Assemble bid files, including development information, in a customer relationship management system to prepare estimates and streamline processes.
  • Estimate the cost of HVAC or Air Distribution equipment and systems for assigned bid opportunities to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Strong HVAC background as an Application Engineer/Project Engineer, preferably with relevant experience in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
