Our Concreters specialize in delivering exceptional finishes to our kerb and channel products.

This role supports our Foreman and oversees one labourer, working together to achieve outstanding results.

Requirements

- A Cert 3 in Concreting or equivalent experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of WHS practices and ability to set a good example of following guidelines.
- Proven experience leading general and skilled labourers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up the site by installing steel pegs and string lines at precise distances and heights, ensuring accurate placement every time.
- Maintain all tools in pristine condition and maintain a tidy job site, adhering to high standards of professionalism.
- Operate profile tools with precision, cutting and finishing expansion joints to perfection.
- Install and finish kerb adapters, driveway cut-outs, and pram ramp cuts with ease and accuracy.
- Ensure every task is completed to an exceptionally high standard, meeting client expectations consistently.
- Comply with all company safety policies and regulations at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

- Possesses own reliable transportation to commute to various job sites.
- Holds a valid driver's license and construction industry white card.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Can adapt to fast-paced environments under pressure while maintaining a focus on quality output.
- Exhibits physical stamina to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Embodies a safety-first attitude and flexibility to work varied shifts at different locations across the Sunshine Coast region.

Benefits

Work Arrangements

- Standard 8-hour shift schedule from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend commitments.

Preferred Qualifications

- High School education (Year 9-11 preferred).

Essential Experience

- Concrete finishing expertise for at least 1 year.

Licences/Certifications

- White Card (essential)

- Valid Work Authorisation for Australia (required)
