We are currently seeking an Assembly Specialist to join our production team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex components by connecting parts with precision. This role requires strong technical knowledge and manual dexterity to ensure all components fit correctly and meet quality standards. The ability to read instructions and follow established procedures is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
- Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
- Check output to ensure highest quality
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Keep records of production quantities and time

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as assembler
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Forklift license is a requirement

Benefits:

This role offers an ongoing 5 day working week with start times from 7:00am. Ongoing training and advancement opportunities are also available.

Requirements:

- Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kgs
- Have good time management skills
- Have good mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail
- Demonstrate the ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
- Have required PPE - steel capped boots and high visibility clothing
- Have a valid driver's license and own transport
- Have a valid forklift license
- Be available to work Monday - Friday ongoing
- Must have minimum of 2 vaccinations
- Those with up to 15 years of production experience preferred
