Job Title: Strategic Learning Director

The Australian Government seeks a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development, delivery and ongoing improvement of learning and capability programs.

  • This role requires a proven track record in leading learning teams in large complex organisations.
  • Expertise in learning strategy, design, delivery and evaluation is essential.
  • Experience managing learning systems, mandatory training programs and enterprise capability frameworks is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and capability framework aligned with the agency's strategic plan.
  2. Lead the development and delivery of high-quality learning programs that meet the needs of employees at all levels.
  3. Maintain and enhance the ACCC's Capability Framework to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
  4. Design and implement a skills taxonomy aligned to the ACCC's job family framework.
What You Will Do:

You will lead a team responsible for designing, developing and delivering learning programs that drive business outcomes. This includes implementing a comprehensive review of the agency's capability framework, aligning it with the functionality of the Learning Management System and integrating it with the ACCC's performance and development processes.

About You:
  • Demonstrated experience leading a learning team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning strategy, design, delivery and evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of performance frameworks and talent development models.

Salary: $123,702 - $136,900
