Patrols Coordinator

The Patrols Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining an effective and efficient program by making informed decisions and sustainable recommendations, and through the deployment of human, financial, and material resources that are available to the teams within Regulation.
The role reviews operational plans and related programs, projects, budgets, and other initiatives to implement streamlined operational processes and practices.
The Patrols Coordinator is responsible for collecting and analyzing data and using this business intelligence to plan the tactical direction of Environmental Health & Regulation while leading and mentoring a highly skilled multi-faceted team to achieve operational objectives while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
About YouOur ideal candidate will possess the below key requirements:
- Certificate IV qualification and demonstrated 5 years' experience in leadership and/or management: or relevant tertiary qualification in an investigatory, regulatory, business, or similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience role modelling a positive safety culture and adherence to the Health Safety Management Systems through visible leadership and exercising due diligence and management of compliance and legislative obligations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a high performing team to achieve operational activities including deploying resources efficiently and effectively and supporting other EHR coordinators as required.
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement skills, including experience in communication, negotiation, consultation, and conflict resolution to maintain key working customer/supplier relationships.
- Proven experience in strong financial and budget management, balancing and negotiating available resources to deliver excellence in customer experience and managing the performance of community assets and lifestyle with statutory and legal obligations.
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills to present materials to a standard that would be acceptable for internal and external distribution, and participation at community engagement events promoting responsible animal ownership.
- Demonstrated capacity to develop and manage efficient data systems for high level data analysis related to EHR seasonal trends and program delivery.
- Authorised Persons Card or ability to obtain.
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products.
- Current Queensland 'C' class driver's license.
- 17.5% annual leave loading
