Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a challenging role within our multi-disciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on project design packages of drawings, specifications, and calculations, as well as travel internationally to project sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of HVAC and Plumbing design work
  • Develop mechanical construction and equipment specifications
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and criteria
  • Perform engineering quality assurance checks of project designs
  • Support new project proposals with mechanical discipline scopes, budget estimates, and schedules

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
  • PE License required
  • Experience in HVAC and plumbing/piping systems design and associated engineering calculations
  • Proficient in editing and writing mechanical construction and equipment specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience using HVAC computer load and design programs such as Trane Trace software
  • Knowledge of Revit building information modeling software strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Auto CAD
  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA standards
  • Working knowledge of IMC, IPC, and IBC codes
  • Current passport, US citizenship, and active Secret clearance required with eligibility to obtain Top Secret with SCI
