About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at NSW Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing person-centered, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Work in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
  • Assist in the provision of supervision and support for less experienced clinicians.
  • Maintain professional accountability and development in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia's Standards of Practice.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • A minimum of one (1) year full-time postgraduate employment (or 1982 hours part-time/casual) within Australia.
  • Recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care and NSW Health Core Values.
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Computer literacy and understanding of relevant health-related information systems.
