Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at NSW Government. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with consumers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Work in therapeutic and professional relationships with consumers, as well as families, groups, and communities.
  • Assist in the provision of supervision and support for less experienced clinicians and maintain professional accountability and development in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia's Standards of Practice.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and current NSW Driver's License (if required by service).
  • Recent clinical experience in a mental health care setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care and NSW Health Core Values.
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Computer literacy and understanding of relevant health-related information systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply the principles of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care to practice.
