Fashion Retail Career Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Merchandise Planner to drive business success by effectively managing inventory, analyzing sales data, and developing strategic merchandise plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans in collaboration with the Buying team to support sales, margin, and inventory goals.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and product performance to forecast demand and identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment, markdowns, and promotions to maximize sell-through and minimize excess stock.
- Partner with the Buying team to plan and execute product assortments that align with customer preferences, brand strategy, and financial objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, retail buying, or inventory management, preferably within the fashion industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and other planning tools.
