At GFG Alliance, we are committed to decarbonising the steel industry and achieving carbon neutrality. To support this ambition, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Driven Portfolio Strategy Lead. This role will be based in Adelaide, reporting directly to the Manager Project Services.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and enthusiastic individual with proven experience in data analysis and portfolio management. As a Data Driven Portfolio Strategy Lead, you will serve as the bridge between project managers/project teams and internal/external stakeholders, providing critical insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges across multiple projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior management and project teams to design and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools to communicate complex information effectively, supporting informed decision-making.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project environment, with a strong background in data analysis and portfolio management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other data analysis tools, including PowerBI.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems.
