Working Hours:
Day shift: 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and be responsible for:

  • Upholding safety, quality, and production standards
  • Conducting preventative maintenance as per site specifications
  • Diagnosing machinery issues and estimating repair times
  • Dismantling, evaluating, repairing, and reassembling machinery and components
  • Interpreting and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Utilizing tools such as MEX, logbooks, PM check sheets, and technical manuals
  • Collaborating with relevant personnel to ensure accurate execution of tasks and prompt resolution of issues

Candidate Requirements:

  • Preferred Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Must be an Australian resident
  • Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Background in mechanical maintenance within a high-volume production facility
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting
  • Mechanical aptitude with a solid commitment to work
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
