Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to lead and mentor a community-based team of Support Workers. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, professional, and client-centred care.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clinicians and scheduling officers to promote independence, restorative care using a "do with" approach, and uphold compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a community-based team of Support Workers, working collaboratively with clinicians and scheduling officers, upholding compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, demonstrating ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and make effective decisions, and influencing outcomes through high-level interpersonal and customer service skills.

A Certificate IV in Community Services, Health, Administration, Business or Leadership, or extensive experience in a similar role, is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years' experience in a team leadership position, preferably within aged care or community services.

Other requirements include proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams, including casual staff, with a focus on accountability and performance, and experience using CRM systems, electronic rostering tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
