Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at New Horizons. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to residents in their own homes.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time or part-time position, working a 24/7 rotating roster. You will be responsible for meeting the daily care needs of residents, including physical and psychological support. Your tasks may include:
- Delivering health care procedures and medication administration
- Providing bowel care and catheter care
- Applying sensitivity and interpersonal skills to manage interactions and advocate for resident outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary Enrolled Nurse qualification and Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A valid NSW Drivers C class licence
- A mobile phone for work purposes
- An understanding of NDIS services and programs (desirable)
- The ability to lift 10 kilograms unassisted
- Punctuality and a friendly nature
