Project Manager - Operations and Safety

This role involves leading trade and non-trade personnel, driving operational efficiency and safety, conducting risk assessments, tracking project progress, reviewing quality documentation, managing procurement, capturing variations and claims, mentoring project teams, and overseeing minor projects or operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams in a safe and efficient manner to drive operational excellence
  • Driving health, safety, and environment practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
  • Tracking project progress and reviewing quality documentation to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Managing procurement, capturing variations and claims, and mentoring project teams
  • Overseeing minor projects or operations

About You

Candidates should have a relevant Trade or Engineering qualification, at least 5 years' experience in management or senior supervision, strong technical knowledge of fixed plant mining and industrial projects, experience with CMS documentation, multidisciplinary project experience, ability to manage multiple projects, flexibility to work away, and a current Australian Driver's Licence.
