About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team at Frontline Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-end custom-made timber stairs using shearing, punching, and forming machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain shearing, punching, and forming machines to fabricate sheet metal parts.
  • Cut, form, and join sheet metal to create high-quality parts.
  • Inspect and check finished parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Install or repair products made from sheet metal.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to determine specific job requirements.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in the trade and an apprenticeship in Australia.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication.
  • MIG experience is essential, with TIG experience also highly desirable.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage time effectively to a high degree of detail and quality.
  • Previous experience working across multiple industries is highly advantageous.
