Project Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead to drive our projects forward with precision and enthusiasm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects within scope and quality objectives.

  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors; completing the project in compliance with client/stakeholder expectations of time and quality.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project financial performance by preparing progress claims, managing cost tracking, and maintaining positive cash flow to exceed margin targets.
  • Contracts Management: Manage head and subcontract conditions, including the timely procurement and execution of contracts; Prepare and administer contracts within delegated authority limits, resolve contract claims, and finalise accounts after project completion.
  • Project Planning: Establish and monitor project programs, identifying risks and opportunities, and aligning procurement with project timelines; lead key project meetings, drive project completion, identify jurisdiction, and implement cost-effective practices.
  • HSEQ Management: Ensure all projects adhere to strict safety standards and protocols; maintain a safe working environment by managing the projects in compliance with policy and regulations.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership to the project team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and the successful delivery of project milestones.

The ideal candidate will have relevant industry qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar, sound experience within the Construction Industry (preferably in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector) with a minimum of 2-5 years' experience. Strong knowledge of project management techniques, including sub-contractor tender evaluations, value management, and quality assurance, is essential.
