About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at dnata catering. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the planning and direction of food preparation in our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Plan and coordinate food preparation, including ordering and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement recipes and menus to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor and control labor, food costs, and shrinkage to budget.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, QSAI, and Food Safety standards.
  • Participate in the development of new food products and menus.
Requirements
  • Trade qualified Chef with at least 2 years' experience in a high-volume food production environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of HACCP, QSAI, and Food Safety.
  • Prior experience with airline catering and service-oriented environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good financial understanding and cost-consciousness.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example.
