Movement Therapy Specialist

As a Movement Therapy Specialist, you will work with patients in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and develop personalized treatment plans for each patient. This may involve working in acute surgical wards, inpatient rehabilitation programs, and day therapy sessions.
You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care. Your role will also include mentoring and supporting Allied Health Assistants in their training.
About You- A Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree with registration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent qualification is required.
- Prior experience in orthopaedic surgery, rehabilitation, or subacute settings is highly desirable.
- The ability to manage conflicting priorities and workload independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Continuous personal and professional growth is encouraged, with opportunities to advance your career through self-directed learning and skill development.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills are crucial for success in this role.
