We seek a skilled tradesperson to deliver exceptional results for the community.

The Role

This position plays a key role in contributing to the success of our team as an internal service provider. The incumbent will provide expertise to undertake maintenance and construction activities, support programmed works within other areas of Infrastructure & Environment, and leverage their skills to enhance our services.

Key Requirements

  • A recognised trade certificate in carpentry/joinery, bricklaying or concreting, or equivalent experience is essential.
  • Experience working with steel would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of current building and work practices.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within time constraints in the maintenance and construction field.
  • Understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
  • Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with associated software.
  • A Victorian Driver's Licence is required.
