Mental Health Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Private Practice role in the Yarra Valley. Our client provides psychological assessment and intervention services to the Yarra Valley and Outer East suburbs of Melbourne, as well as West Gippsland. A values-based practice with values of Community, Strengths Focus, Sharing Knowledge, and Sustainability. Our client is a teaching clinic and provides mentoring and supervision to trainee therapists.
In this role, you will see a range of clients from paediatrics through to older adults. You will also have the opportunity to deliver both individual and group-based therapy as well as some community visits. You may have the option to tailor your skill set to your area of interest.
This is a full-time position with the option to work from home. Early career and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.

- Qualification in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration
- Mental Health OT area of interest and experience desired
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Previous experience with neurodiverse and NDIS clients (desired)
- A passion for high-quality service delivery
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Strong crisis assessment and crisis management skills
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to work autonomously
- Highly organised and efficient
- Current driver's licence and own car
- Police Check
- Cleared Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Cleared NDIS Worker Screen Check
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
