Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our production team on the night shift.

The successful candidate will provide effective leadership, manage budgets, drive process improvements, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute production plans to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop team members to enhance performance and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Budget Management: Play an active role in budget planning and drive strategic resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Process Optimisation: Analyse and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce unplanned stops and wastage.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure operations comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the production process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Present problem-solving expertise by identifying root causes and recommending solutions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manufacturing, preferably in dairy manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in production management. They should possess technical skills in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and other management systems.

Demonstrated leadership capability, analytical skills, and a proven ability to inspire and drive high performance across diverse teams are essential.
