We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Northern Beaches Hospital.

About the Role:

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning services to all areas of the hospital, including routine, reactive, and project cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital and surrounding areas
  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients
  • Work in a manner that preserves patient confidentiality and dignity
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:

  • Proven cleaning experience, preferably within a healthcare or hospitality environment
  • Good communication and customer skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices, techniques, and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team and independently with limited supervision

What We Offer:

  • Casual hourly rates of $31.58 per hour plus superannuation
  • Additional loading for early afternoon, mid-afternoon, and night shifts
  • Weekend penalty rates and public holiday rates
