About the RoleAs a court security officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of court staff, judges, lawyers, and the public. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to everyone entering the court.
You will also be responsible for conducting x-ray screening, using metal detectors, and searching individuals for prohibited items. Additionally, you will perform roving security patrols within and external to the building, resolve conflicts, negotiate with individuals as needed, and manage access and control rooms.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant skills and qualifications, including a Certificate II or III in Security Operations and a current Victorian security licence. You will be required to work daytime hours Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
