**Job Opportunity:** Union Field Organiser

Our organisation is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Union Field Organiser.

The primary function of this position is to develop and implement effective campaigns and strategies that assist members in achieving fairness at work, job security, and the best possible pay and decent conditions.

This involves recruiting members, developing members, delegates, and workplace leaders, as well as promoting union objectives.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our members achieve positive change in their workplaces and contributing to the broader labour movement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing effective campaigns and strategies.

- Recruiting and developing members, delegates, and workplace leaders.

- Promoting union objectives and values.

- Building relationships with members and stakeholders.

- Collaborating with other teams to achieve shared goals.

Selection Criteria:

- Commitment to union values and principles.

- High level verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lead and organise, build relationships, motivate, and develop individuals or groups.

- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to plan and organise work and achieve outcomes.
