As a landscape maintenance specialist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced horticulturists to develop your skills and gain practical knowledge in all aspects of garden maintenance.

Job Opportunity:

This entry-level position offers hands-on training and the chance to contribute to exciting projects in high-end residential settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining landscapes through planting, irrigation, and turf management.
  • Learning and practicing proper pruning, trimming, and weeding techniques.
  • Participating in soil preparation, composting, and fertilization activities.
  • Contributing to outdoor space design and layout under senior team guidance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient project completion to the highest standards.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Interest in plants and gardens.
  • Commitment to an apprenticeship program.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Punctuality and strong work ethic.
  • Well-presented and physically fit.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Current driver's license an advantage but not essential.

You will attend College of TAFE one day per week where you will study Certificate 3 in Horticulture Parks and Gardens.
