Hotel Leadership Opportunity

Job Title: Hotel General Manager

About the Role:

We seek a visionary and experienced Onsite Hotel General Manager to drive success at our iconic Western Australia hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full ownership of the hotel and lead all facets, including bar, restaurant, TAB, and accommodation
  • Conduct efficient staff meetings and set a stellar example
  • Innovate revenue-building ideas across all aspects of the business
  • Demonstrate financial acumen in areas such as wage costing and P&Ls
  • Maintain a visible presence during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Develop and manage effective rosters
  • Conduct stocktakes and investigate stock loss
  • Train, motivate, and manage staff performance
  • Recruit and induct new team members
  • Collaborate with the Head Office team and communicate effectively with all departments
  • Implement and execute successful promotions throughout the business
  • Hold WA Approved Managers certification
  • Experience with BePoz and RMS is advantageous

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a Venue Manager role
  • Previous General Manager experience in a similar hotel environment
  • Current RSA and Approved Manager WA Licence
  • Competent in profit and loss analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Strong communication skills for direct communication with the Director and weekly reporting
  • Passionate about fostering a strong team culture with ongoing development
  • Proven ability to lead by example and set the stage for high performance
