Workday Functional Architect Job Summary Workday Functional Architects are vital in delivering expert guidance and support for functional area engagements in large-scale Workday implementations. This role plays a key part in the successful delivery of our client's projects, ensuring cohesive project communications across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead concurrent Workday implementations across all functional areas, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, and Learning.
  • Oversee functional area architect workshops and client confirmation sessions to ensure efficient design and configuration of the delivered solution.
  • Serve as a sounding board for engagement managers and leads, providing ad-hoc advice and advocating for issue resolution.
  • Mentor junior project resources by providing guidance and feedback to help them learn new skills and functional areas.
  • Ensure cohesive project communications are in place for cross-functional delivery between teams.
Duties & Tasks:
  • Attend regular Workday knowledge sharing calls for product areas.
  • Partner with engagement managers and portfolio directors to drive team growth and development.
  • Conduct internal quality assurance processes and ensure issues and risks are discussed openly.
  • Support sales teams by estimating projects, participating in sales oral meetings, and reviewing estimates for change orders.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field is required.

Workday Certification

Candidates must be current Workday certified and certified in at least two subspecialities.

Implementation Experience

At least three to five full lifecycle Workday implementations are required.
