Job Title: Principal Application Architect
About the RoleThe Department of Customer Service is seeking an experienced principal application architect to lead the development and implementation of enterprise-level applications.
This role will involve owning and evolving the application portfolio model, ensuring every application is catalogued, governed, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Develop and implement frameworks, standards, and best practices for enterprise application and data governance.
- Provide technical oversight and architectural leadership across application and data domains.
- Design and govern logical and physical data models that align with business goals.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Strategic assessments of new business applications to prevent duplication and promote scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Leading technical design and architecture discussions to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in ICT enterprise application architecture and data governance.
- A strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, standards, and patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, influence decisions, and align technology with business outcomes.
