We are seeking a visionary Senior Merchandise Planner to drive strategy and growth for our globally recognised luxury fashion brand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the brand's financial planning and stock management, ensuring we achieve our ambitious growth goals while maintaining our premium positioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandise planning within the luxury or premium fashion sector, with expertise in open-to-buy (OTB) management, financial forecasting, and P&L oversight. You will also have a proven track record of developing and motivating teams, as well as exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

In this role, you will lead the OTB process, aligning sales, stock, and profit targets across markets. You will deliver actionable insights on sales, gross profit, and inventory performance, driving improvement strategies. Additionally, you will oversee planning for both locally produced and internationally sourced collections, optimise inventory levels, and collaborate with senior leadership and global partners to align on strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the open-to-buy (OTB) process, ensuring alignment of sales, stock, and profit targets across markets
  • Deliver actionable insights on sales, gross profit, and inventory performance, driving improvement strategies
  • Oversee planning for both locally produced and internationally sourced collections
  • Optimise inventory levels, managing aged stock while maintaining the brand's luxury image
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and global partners to align on strategic objectives

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned luxury fashion brand and drive growth through strategic planning and leadership. With a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading, you will be rewarded for your expertise and dedication.
