**Childcare Educator Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as a Childcare Educator. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to play, teach and care for children in a safe learning environment at Before and After School Care.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and have excellent communication and leadership skills. You will work closely with the school community to develop relationships with families, principal, school leaders and their communities.

As a central member of the team, you will plan, deliver and promote quality activities for children which are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value. You will also uphold the welfare and safety of children at all times.

Your program will help grow attendances at the service and you will be supported by a committed Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To implement and maintain a high-quality service that meets the needs of the children and their families.
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, families, principal, school leaders and their communities.
  • To plan, deliver and promote quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value.
  • To uphold the welfare and safety of children at all times.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services / Early Childhood Education or Certificate IV in Education Support / School Age Education and Care or similar qualification.
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check.
  • HLTAID0012 or higher First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
