This is a chance to take on a unique and exciting role as an Emergency Medicine Consultant. The position involves leading, supporting and educating multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of exceptional emergency care to the community.
The Kalgoorlie Health Campus is a recently revitalised 106-bed general inpatient facility serving over 50,000 residents of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and surrounding areas. The Emergency Department is the primary emergency care hub for the Goldfields region, managing over 25,000 presentations each year.
The department plays a vital role in delivering culturally responsive care and improving health outcomes for the diverse population. You will have a strong sense of cultural sensitivity, respectfulness and diplomacy, and be curious about indigenous health and passionate about its challenges.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
