The Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ForHealth Group (Dayforce) in Ballarat. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, working collaboratively with experienced nurses and general practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough health assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
- Administer vaccines and medications as prescribed by medical professionals
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Assist general practitioners with minor procedures and provide support with patient care
- Manage and maintain accurate patient clinical data, including wound dressings and removal of sutures
- Provide health education and coaching to patients to support their health goals
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- Proven experience in general practice or an acute setting
- Knowledge of health assessment principles and practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
