About This Role

As a key contributor to our engineering team, you will leverage your passion for innovation and customer-centric solutions to drive the development of cutting-edge medical AI products that transform patient lives.

You will work closely with our Lead Systems Engineer, product management, and cross-functional teams comprising AI engineers, software engineers, regulatory affairs experts, and clinical professionals to design and develop solutions aligned with customer needs.

  • Develop and review comprehensive test strategies and risk assessments for software products, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality outputs.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to formulate, document, and prioritize test plans, guaranteeing effective testing methodologies.

  • Assist in automating tests using industry-standard tools like Cypress, Selenium, or similar platforms, streamlining testing processes and enhancing efficiency.

  • Execute thorough testing, employing a combination of manual and automated methods to identify and rectify issues promptly.

  • Document test results, investigate root causes, and provide actionable feedback to developers on non-compliance and reproduction steps.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of software architecture, network protocols (e.g., HTTP), microservices, and cloud technologies to ensure seamless system integration.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Typescript, Python, or Rust, enabling efficient coding and collaboration.

  • Experience working with test automation platforms like Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools to streamline testing processes.

  • Effective communication skills, enabling smooth collaboration with engineers, bug tracking, and source control.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in regulated environments, such as Australia's TGA regulations for software as a medical device, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
