About the Role
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in diesel mechanics, who can work on complex equipment and machinery. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns of mobile fleet equipment, including diggers and drills. You will also be involved in daily inspections, identifying and rectifying faults, and providing input into root cause analysis and resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess Australian Recognised Heavy Mechanical/Vehicle Fitter Qualifications, a high level of technical experience with Diggers and Drills, and demonstrated diagnostics and breakdown experience. You will also need to be technically/mechanically sound, with skills in Leibherr, Cat, and Atlas Copco equipment. A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail is essential, as well as computer literacy and/or experience in 1SAP.
