We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our team in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This role will play a key part in delivering resilient and innovative ICT services and critical infrastructure to SA Government agencies.

In this role, you will lead the development of websites that meet South Australian Government standards for user experience, branding, content, development, and accessibility. You will also oversee the maintenance of the Government Website Services platform ecosystem and developed components.

  • Maintain website standards, processes, and production environment; manage domain names; develop and update new components and training materials.
  • System administration and support of the SAGOV Website Design System production and development.
  • Lead training and creation/updating of training materials for website editors and key stakeholders from across government.
  • Participate in shared on-call support for all clientele, including triaging and troubleshooting issues.
  • Research, guide, and assist the implementation of third-party tools that can be integrated with the web platform.
  • Manage overrides and exemptions to the system.
  • Provide technical advice on security, integrity, and availability of web infrastructure to meet whole-of-government standards.
  • Inform, coach, and develop South Australian Government employees to develop skills and knowledge in online accessibility.
