Operational Risk Specialist Role

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for driving the efficient and effective management of operational risk in the Retail Insurance Australia Division (RIA).

\

This role is a visible advocate for driving risk maturity uplift and improvement across RIA, requiring strong business acumen and communication skills to engage broadly with business operations and risk culture.

\

The successful applicant will have experience in risk management within the insurance or financial sector, along with demonstrated experience in controls testing, regulatory environment compliance, and developing risk and assurance learning frameworks.

\

In addition to these qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess capabilities in respect of core systems, risk systems, and data maintenance, as well as a strong understanding of key parameters and decision factors in managing risk effectively.
