This is a temporary opportunity for 6 months, and you'll be working in an office-based environment in Newcastle, providing high-level technical advice and excellent customer service to users of the DRIVES system.

About the Role

As a DRIVES Help Desk Officer, you'll be responsible for delivering on-line support, analysing and resolving system application problems, and providing technical guidance to a variety of users. Your expertise in communication, problem-solving, empathy, and conflict resolution will enable you to foster satisfaction and service experiences that transform lives.

You'll work collaboratively with our team to deliver timely and efficient solutions, ensuring that users receive exceptional technical support. Your experience with DRIVES and ability to communicate well at all levels will equip you with the essential requirements of the role, enabling you to contribute to the overall safety of the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and investigate system application problems, providing high-level technical advice and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deliver excellent technical customer service, investigating and analysing errors and anomalies, and providing guidance on how to navigate these challenges.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Technical Skills: Experience with DRIVES software and strong analytical skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.

Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and supportive responses to users.
