Linux System Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Linux Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux troubleshooting, server administration, and programming fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees via telephone, email, and web
  • Act as an internal customer advocate, keeping them updated in a timely manner
  • Ensure each support case is handled according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the highest possible customer satisfaction by setting the right expectations and fulfilling commitments

Requirements:

  • Exceptional academic track record
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or alternative chosen path
  • Confidence in speaking up and sharing ideas
  • Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
  • Experience with Linux troubleshooting
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience on multiple areas including Linux server administration, programming fundamentals, networking, virtualization/cloud computing concepts
  • Ability to learn quickly, handle pressure, and travel internationally twice a year
