At Catholic Diocese of Parramatta, we strive to ensure our schools are the first choice for families, students and staff.

We have a variety of teaching and non-teaching roles available across 80 schools that support innovative learning and teaching to around 43,500 students.

The Instructional Coach plays a critical role in facilitating meaningful working relationships between teachers and CSPD support teams to improve student outcomes.

This role involves:

  • Collaborating with the school leadership team to develop and implement School Improvement Plans
  • Collecting and analysing data to inform teacher development and improve student learning outcomes
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to teachers to enhance their professional capability
  • Supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices in Literacy and Numeracy

Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-planning and implementing School Improvement Plans with the school leadership team
  • Collating and analysing school literacy and numeracy data to inform targets and next steps
  • Regularly evaluating the impact of their work using an Evaluative Thinking Tool
  • Improving student learning outcomes through in-situ support to teachers

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
