Financial Insights Specialist

The Opportunity

As a Financial Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for providing critical financial analysis and insights to support business decisions within the Finance and Strategy Division.

You will utilise your technical background to add value by:

  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and deep dives to provide richer insights to stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining key relationships with stakeholders including Finance Business Partners and Squad Leads.
  • Assisting with budget and forecast planning, monthly reporting, and ensuring month-end results integrity.
  • Contributing to month-end reporting processes, providing analysis and commentary on results, budgets, and forecasts highlighting drivers of performance, opportunities, risks, and implications for the outlook period.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting, as well as corporate plan financials.
  • Assisting with the development of robust financial models to support business cases and tender responses.

About You:

A key element of this role is to assist Hub Leads to deliver on their financial goals, requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills.

You will need:

  • 2-3 years' experience in Management Accounting in a large corporate environment.
  • CA or CPA qualification in a finance, statistical, actuarial, or business-related discipline.
  • Proven ability to successfully build and manage relationships working with leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in turning large disparate data into actionable management information and insight, deliverable in various written or verbal formats.
