About the Role

We are seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Salisbury. As a Support Worker, you will provide one-on-one quality support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily activities, domestic duties, and community access.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and support clients' needs, goals, and daily routines
  • Use positive reinforcement and other techniques to promote independence and confidence
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and managing appointments
  • Provide physical assistance with domestic duties and other tasks as required
  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients and their families
  • Support clients in accessing community resources and activities
Requirements:
  • Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities is highly desirable
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Smart phone with internet access
